ORGANIZING AUTHORITY: CASCO BAY LASER FLEET

1. RULES: The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Laser Class Rules (ILCA), this Notice of Race (NOR), the Sailing Instructions (SI) as issued, and any amendments.

2. CLASS: Laser Standard and Laser Radial will race together. No measurements will be taken.

3. ELIGIBILITY: open to all ages, sails do not need to be class legal, advertising is allowed

4. SCHEDULE:

           Registration                            1200-1230

Skipper’s Meeting                   1215

First Warning                           1300

Last Warning No later than      1445    

Hot Food & Celebratory Beverages Post Racing

5. ENTRY: Entries and Registration will be conducted on the Junior Sailing Program Deck at PYC. 
The entry fee for entire series $50 or $15 per day.
The entry fee for junior sailors $30 or $10 per day.

6. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Available on Casco Bay Laser Fleet website

7. SCORING: All boats scored together - Low Point Scoring as per RRS Appendix A. There will be one discard for every 5 completed races.

8. REGATTA AREA: NO VEHICLE PARKING IN FIELD: BOAT DROP OFF ONLY

Storage: during regatta in PYC field
Rigging: at PYC

Launch: at PYC ramp

Racing: mooring field of PYC

9. COURSES: Windward-leeward of varying length and number of legs
